Portfolio Optimization

This master’s thesis deals with problematics of portfolio theory, which helps to create optimal portfolios for the selected investment company. Portfolios consist of shares, which are traded on New York Stock Exchange and which include a historical value at least for two years. There are two ways of creating portfolios. The first way is the portfolio with minimal risk and no required return and the second way is the portfolio with minimal risk and required return. In this thesis are used mathematical methods, which include a linear algebra, an optimization and a statistics.
Fundamental Share Analysis of Selected Gold Mining Companies

The diploma thesis deals with fundamental share analyss in order to propose a variant of investing in shares of selected gold mining companies. The subject is macroeconomic analysis of the environment in which selected gold mining companies operate, gold industry analysis and company analysis comprising evaluation of the development of corporate indicators and their issued shares. On the basis of these analyzes ind inter-company comparison, the most profitable options will be proposed to the management of the hedge fund.

The bachelor thesis deals with the initial public offering (IPO), as funding opportunities for business development by own external sources. There is the basic definition of the theoretical concepts related to the IPO (financial market, joint-stock company, IPO). Further the work deals with the analysis of the chosen company and its suitability for the IPO, which mainly assesses the readiness of the company, selecting the optimal market and accuracy of timing. Aim of this work is to determine the steps which are necessary for the company to implement the IPO.

The bachelor thesis is focused on preparation of a company for entry on a stock exchange through an initial public offer of shares (IPO) as one option from the available options of financing the company. The thesis presents basic theoretical considerations relating to the financial market, the joint stock company and the IPO method. The analysis of Partners Financial Services in terms of the level of readiness for admission to the stock exchange, selection of a suitable market for IPO implementation and assessment of the macroeconomic situation of the macroeconomic situation are also presented in the analytical part.

The aim of the thesis is to assess the suitability of financing company’s project via initial public offering as well as to set the steps of the whole IPO process. The introductory section clarifies important terms related to the issue. Practical section deals with the company’s readiness and observance rate of assumptions of a successful emission. There are outlined individual steps in addition. The conclusion formulates own suggestions, including improving recommendation.

The subject of my Master´s Thesis is the technical analysis. Teoretical part is about the approach of the theoretical issues, description of its individual methods, in the second part I'm concerned with the practical use of technical analysis in trading on the financial market and at the end of the thesis I will evaluate the effect of using the technical analysis in practice, in general also in the specific cases I investigated, I summarize its advantages and disadvantages.

Master‘s thesis is focused on the possibility of financing a company through entering the alternative market of the Prague Stock Exchange Ltd. The alternative market of the Prague Stock Exchange is the START Market, which is suitable for smaller and innovative czech companies. This is about an unregulated market, which means that the conditions of admission conditions and trading rules are set by the stock exchange. The thesis defines the basic starting points, which are connected with the capital market, the market organizer and the initial public offering of stocks (IPO).

The last part of the work formulates recommendations for entering the capital market based on found information.
AOS: Tool for Graph Analysis

This Bachelor's thesis is focused mainly on design and implementation of a tool, that analyses price graphs. One of the main requirements of the design is modifiability and maintainability of source code. This goal is achieved with the MVC architecture and by creating independent system components. The application takes care of collecting the data from the trading platform, performs the calculation based on the requirements and displays the information in the graph. For each module, the calculation is being done independently, whereas the modules can form multiple sequences of different lengths. In this Bachelor's thesis, there are five analytical modules implemented and two sample case studies created.
Design of Automatic Trading System Based on Trend Indicators and Oscillators

This thesis deals with the implementation of the software for automated stock trading based on trend indicators and oscillators. It describes the various signals that are provided by formations in charts and technical indicators, but also the possibility of using advanced artificial intelligence methods. This document describes entire development process of the software from individual parts to the folding of these parts into one system. It focuses on the optimization processes of individual parts, as well as a complete system. This thesis also deals with the testing of the system on historical data and its application on the latest data. It introduces the future plans, deployment options to the real market and its further improvement in order to develop ideal business system capable of autonomous thinking and trading.
